Our journey in the painting industry began in 2015. What started as an unexpected opportunity in commercial painting quickly became a passion for precision. Before founding Macaw Painting, I spent years supervising major projects—from hotels and apartment complexes to essential facilities like police and fire stations.
Those years as a foreman taught me that a great paint job isn’t just about color; it’s about leadership, structural knowledge, and an uncompromising eye for detail.
A Family Business with a Heart in Red Deer
In 2020, my wife Kimberly and I founded Macaw Painting in Kelowna, BC. As our reputation grew, so did our family and our team. In 2021, we decided to make Red Deer, Alberta, our home. We were drawn to the city’s incredible people and its welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere.
Today, while Kimberly manages our office and cares for our children, I personally lead our team of three professional painters. For us, this isn’t just a business; it’s our way of contributing to the community we love.
